Clinical Services

My areas of particular interest are Psychological trauma or Post Traumatic Stress, Transition issues in Developmental phases of life; Aging related adjustment problems, Relationship and Interpersonal difficulties; Intimacy and emotional connection, Addiction recovery, Managing compulsive behaviors, and Managing grief and loss. I also have substantial experience in working with anxiety and depressive symptoms.


My approach to treatment is informed by my substantial training and experience in Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Buddhist Psychology and Gestalt/Jungian Art Therapy. Recent areas of study include Narrative Therapy and Ecotherapy.

If you are seeing me in therapy, you are also encouraged at any time to ask about my thoughts regarding your treatment, progress or treatment plans. When I feel there is someone in the community better prepared to help you, I’m happy to help you make contact with that person.


In these difficult times of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I would like to assure you that I am very aware of the impact and stress on everyone. I am on a Covid-19 Taskforce for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in San Miguel de Allende, GTO Mexico. This Taskforce is made up of Doctors, Nurses Psychiatrist and myself a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. On a weekly basis, we discuss current issues related to the Covid-19 Virus and help keep our community informed.
